What I liked

Despite being in a temporary 'portacabin,' the Heart Unit was superb. I have always found the Cumberland Infirmary to be a great hospital, with a good service, caring staff and a high standard of cleanliness. I can only marvel at how the staff cope with some of the grumpier patients, who try to treat the hospital like a hotel. You get out of life what you put into it.

What could be improved

Nothing

Anything else?

Be nice to staff, they've got a tough enough job.

Firstly, thank you for getting in touch and we apologise that it has taken us so long to respond. We have just changed the way we do this and assigned a member of staff to respond to improve and be more timely with our responses. Thank you for letting us know about the care you received from our Heart Centre. We continue to receive many kind comments about the professional care provided by the Centre and the attention to detail and care that the nurses provide to the patients as they recover. Our Heart Centre has recently expanded and is now provided round-the-clock and helping to save lives.
