"Ok, but feel the doctors and consultants should..."

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

What I liked

the midwives are lovely for the most part. the ward was clean and the health care assisstants were nice

What could be improved

I feel I wasnt listened to by the consultants, I havent really been listened to throughout my pregnancy by the consultants/doctors I have seen. Doctors etc say noone knows my body better than me, however I feel that this only applys if I agree with the doctors. All in all, I am thinking of moving my pregnancy to preston hospital for the remaining weeks, I have practically begged for induction as the emotional, physical and mental strain Im going through is insane at the minute, I have been in and out of hospital with bleeding and suspected pre term labour I have spd, not sleeping at night at all due to the pain I am in, and now just want to be sorted out, yet none of the doctors/consultants I have seen so far have been interested in what I have to say, or how I am feeling in myself. I spend alot of my time in tears, my emotions/hormones are through the roof. I feel I cannot fulfil my duties correctly as a mother to my other children in my current frame of mind/pain. Yet no one will listen, however with my son I was induced at 36weeks due to bleeding, so why the doctors are refusing to do the same thing this time is beyond me

Anything else?

I am now seriously considering taking myself to preston hospital for a second opinion as I cannot do this much more
