"Wonderful care, respect and dignity shown to all..."

About: St Austell Community Hospital

What I liked

My mother was transferred from Treliske Hospital, after we were told she did not have much longer to live. The Sister in charge of Harold White Ward was true to her word when she said she would 'perk her up a bit', although we knew her condition was worsening each day. Our family cannot praise enough the Sister and her team for the care and consideration shown to our mum. We were included in decisions regarding her end of life care, and were called to be with her at the end, which was such a treasured experience despite our loss..

What could be improved

Absolutely nothing. We could not have bought the care that was given from the heart.
