About: Airedale General Hospital

What I liked

Since February I experienced recurring flu-like symptoms that were alleviated but not cured by three courses of antibiotics from my GP who then referred me to the Consultant ENT surgeon for investigation. The ENT team were very sympathetic about my predicament and accepted me for a very early appointment.

As it happened, no abnormality on examination or following a blood screening was found. The consultant recommended a process of nasal irrigation. This very simple procedure has been particularly effective for the first time in nearly six months, I can breathe normally and can to begin

a period of recuperation to regain strength and fitness.

What could be improved

Nothing at all.

Anything else?

I was very impressed not only with the Consultant's team but with other less senior staff about thew hospital who were all super courteous and helpful in guiding me to my destination.
