"Poor communication at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

After being told I was first on the list for an operation on my left eye, it was not until 3 and a half hours later that I was told that because I had had a cold (which I previously told them about), I was now last on the list in order to stop any infection spreading. If I had been given just a word about the delay, this would at least have enabled me to get a drink, and would also have allowed my wife to go home and fetch me later, instead of having to wait for about 7 hours in the hospital for me.
