What I liked

My daughter had her tonsils removed and stayed overnight on Ward F63. The nurses who cared for her were fantastic; explained every little step, put her at ease and were friendly and happy. In fact all the staff from consultant to porters were friendly and professional. My 5 year old said afterward she thought it was going to be scarey but it was good. She loved the playroom.

What could be improved

Make sure parents of children are aware of meal time routines. I didn't realise I had to go into corridor to get tea and all the sausages had gone!!

Anything else?

I would happlily put my child in the care of the nurses on Ward F63
