What I liked

Having been brought to Colchester Hospital following a car accident in early July, I received absolutely first rate treatment and care, both in A&E and on Wivenhoe Ward. In A&E I was treated quickly and thoroughly, was well informed and treated with respect, sensitivty and concern. Moving up to Wivenhoe Ward, I was again well cared for by the nursing staff, for whom I have the utmost respect and admiration. They were attentive, caring and good humoured at all times, and I am sure that this was an important factor in my recovery. Aside from the nursing care, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the ward and even the quality of the food! I have had very little experience of hospitals, but I must say that I was completely overwhelmed by the quality of the care I received as a patient at Colchester Hospital.
