What I liked
I would like to thank all those involved when I was admitted to PCH on Tuesday 3rd July. I had called 111 after experiencing chest pain, dizziness and rapid heartbeat. Within about 15 mins a paramedic arrived at my home, closely followed by an ambulance team. After on the spot appraisal, I was taken to A&E, arriving around 8.45 pm. I was attended by a doctor, Staff Nurse, and the duty Medical Registrar. All were extremely professional, and very cheerful. After diagnosis of Atrial Fibrillation, and treatment to reduce my heart rate, I was admitted to the Cardiac Unit for overnight observation. Again my care experience was excellent - even the food was far better than my recollection of hospital meals in the past !.
"Professional and friendly treatment by all..."
