What could be improved

I received an appointment for an MRCP but it clashed exactly with another appointment for a different scan at another hospital. I rang to explain and was told that I could expect another appointment within 6 weeks.

I was asked why I couldn't attend - but I'm not sure why if a perfectly valid reason means that you end up going to the back of waiting list again. This is a ridiculous system - how do we know I won't be on holiday for example when the next appointment comes through?
