Dear Sir/Madame

I am writing to you in relation to my Grandfather Harold Roberts who was a patient in Ward E of the renal unit in the Vickers Corridor until he passed away on the 27th of June.

I wish to convey my thanks to the staff of that unit for their professionalism and the excellent level of care they provided my Grandfather for the last weeks of his life.

Further to this, last year my Grandfather was in the Northern General for some weeks last year, and it was believed that he would die due to kidney failure. Your staff who cared for him then bought our family an extra year of his company due to their tenacious attitude and treatment provided.

Due to these experiences I consider myself indebted to the NHS and Northern General in particular.
