Theatre staff explained procedure and were wonderful

What could be improved

Empathy and organisation , I waited for a drip from 9am until 5.30pm despite keep asking because I was dehydrated and haf a tempetature. I was told dr needed to write perscription. I also went without all my meds. The dr told the nurse in the room I needed my drip and medd at 9.30. I had no meds for thtee days!! I v upset after loosing a baby. I was in a side room settling down to watch tv (i had only just got.money on the card). A nurse walked in said something I did not hear and my bed (which I was in) was being wheeled out. My trip to theatre had just been cancelled so I was trting to work out what was going on. I was told I wad moving,i explained I had just topped up the tv and the nurse had a matter a fact attitude and said you can watch it next door,i was put on ward 17 which is bare not even a bed pan let alone a tv! The nurse shrugged her shoulders rudely and then my stuff was left in the coridoor. I was stuck in the middle bed crying (whoich is something I.do in private) it might sound petty about the tv but I had no visitors that day and needed some home comforts. Before my op the ward nurse asked me a list of questions one being was I pregnant...i was going for a dnc!!! None of the nurses new anything about me,she was supposed to br monitoring my blood loss over night.after my op I could not move from a spinal annasetic I was.desprate.for.the toilet I had no call button when a member of staff came she said there were no bed pans by time she got me one I had wet myself and was left sitting in it because I could not feel my legs. A kind nurse finally changed it. the toilet floors were never washed I knoe that because there was blood by the bin. Your told to report it but I had no energy
