"Reception has an air of decay about it."

About: Halton Hospital

What I liked

The staff were polite and helpful.

What could be improved

Considering the Haematology Clinic was daunting as being a cancer department I found that the reception was very dirty, the chairs and carpets were very stained and past there sell by date, I understand the thinking at the time the reception was first opened was to give a homely atmosphere to the room but now it has an air of decay hanging over it which makes it very uncomfortable, a more up to date and clinical approach to reception would have been more reassuring.

Response from Halton Hospital

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback which we'll pass on to the team. Sorry to hear your comments about the fixtures and fittings in the clinic. We're in the process of upgrading some of these elements at the hospital and we will make sure these comments are sent to the estates team so they can take a look.
