In November and December of last year, I was a patient at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary for an operation for bowel cancer. I cannot remember all the names of the individual nurses, but they were all brilliant in caring for me. I cannot praise them all enough. I was frightened about my cancer and the operation, but they were all there for me. Even at home, the district nurses have been brilliant with my care.
