"Puts all other hospital to shame- it's brilliant!"

What I liked

I was born in this hospital and have never had an unpleasant patient experience here. I am now 19 and have had many visits to the A&E which is exceptional! Although waiting times are usually displayed as 2hours, I have been seen within half an hour of arriving and moved to where I need to go. I've had orthopaedic surgery which was remarkable and although the issue I had is recurrent, i could not fault the surgeons or any medical staff. I stayed on the children's ward after this procedure and again, remarkable care by majority of the team. i was given the decision of whether I felt discharge was right at that time and asked if I felt I could cope with going home. I've had relatives stay in the hospital and they could never fault it.

I've had experiences in other hospitals and there is no comparison to the management, organisation or the attitudes of nurses and doctors. I feel like an outsider at other hospitals, but Frimley Park makes me feel right at home, every time I'm there!

What could be improved

I had a tiny dislike for one nurse in particular during my stay at hospital, but he was the first person to talk to me as I came round from anaesthetic and morphine, so I don't think I would have liked anyone at that point
