"Care of my husband by our comunity matron and her team"

About: Cumberland Centre

(as a carer),

We were introduced to this service by our local gp. We cannot fault it at all they are always there for you and nothing is to much trouble. They will vist in an emergency, thus preventing my husband going to hospital. They can also write prescriptions.

They are all so valuable to us as my husband is 91 and at times we struggle with his health, also it feels like we have known them for years.

So good for the matrons: Penelope Andrews, Sharon Ryan and Jules, based at the Cumberland centre, Devonport, Plymouth.
