What I liked
The only decent thing about this hospital is the Chapel as it's the only quiet and clean place within the building. (No, I'm not religious)
What could be improved
Everything.
For a start, there is way too many nurses with too much time on their hands as I recall 9 nurses on the ward I was on and they were just standing/sitting around doing nothing just talking to other colleagues and ignoring patients.
Nurses should also take notes from the doctor as I was due some medication at 1:45pm and did not receive it until 4:50pm as the nurse "had not checked" to see if I was due. Also, when I received a drip in my arm the nurse managed to miss the first time which made me bleed quite a lot all over the bed sheet. Even though she seen this she did not change the bed sheet for another 2 days even after I repeatedly asked.
There is not enough doctors on wards so it is nearly impossible to ask a question etc. I recall there only ever being 1doctor on the ward on a rare occasion although once in a while there was 2 but it was still hard to get hold of them.
The food needs improving as it is the most vile food I have ever tasted and there could be more of a selection.
I believe in general the nurses should be trained on how to be polite and they should not just be hanging around the ward talking amongst themselves whilst patients are in need.
