"Bad experience in 2008 and no improvement today..."

What I liked

My mothers treatment in 2008 was disgusting and I made a formal complaint .Unfortunately 4 years on this hospital is showing no sign of improvement.My nephew got taken in friday lunchtime and was told he needs an op.Each night he's not allowed to eat or drink after being told his op is in the morning .Hopefully tomorrow'Tuesday it will actually happen though I'm not holding my breath .After asking a nurse if she had any idea when the op would be she shrugged her shoulders and said I'm not the person to ask !!A man in his ward is very ill.His covers keep falling off so his private parts are on show .My nephews 8 year old witnesses this everytime she visits her dad .There never seems to be any nurses around .

What could be improved

The sooner nurses realise that patients deserve respect and care things will improve .When matrons ruled the wards care and cleanliness were paramount .Kings mill is the worst hospital Ive ever visited .
