What I liked

All too often patients only feel prompted to post comments after a negative hospital experience. However, the outstanding care I received from all of the staff in the gynaecology department at Chorley hospital has encouraged me to send this e mail. All the staff, including receptionists, nurses and doctors worked together to provide a wonderful service for the patients visiting the department. The nurses in particular showed care and consideration, I'm sure far beyond their remit. The department was run so efficiently, even though on one visit appointments were running late the staff kept us all informed and provided a drink for those requiring sustenance - no one minded. Other departments could certainly learn from how seamlessly this unit is run but mainly from how they treat all patients with dignity and consideration.
