"Very very disappointing."

What I liked

I liked the centre and the staff were polite and helpful while I was there for my consultation.

What could be improved

They found that I had high blood pressure and sent me away without a date for my Knee Replacement operation or telling me to go to my GP about my blood pressure. I was left without any contact from them at all and although I went to my GP and they put me on medication for my blood pressure and faxed the hospital that I was ok have the operation i had no contact from them at all. My husband had to call in at least four times to keep asking about a date and my GP also contacted them but still nothing, finally when my husband called in four weeks later I was told I would have to be assessed again by another doctor and that I had been misplaced in the system and lost. I can barely walk and have had four weeks of stress trying to get a date for my operation and I am extremely disappointed with the way I have been treated at the centre and with the experience I have had so far would not recommend it to anyone. I feel really let down by the service and as I used to work for the NHS it is a bit of a kick in the teeth. Very disappionting!
