What I liked

My appointment was for 14.00 in the clinic. I was seen by the consultant at 14.02, sent to x-ray, seen again at around 14.40. The consultant took time to explain the issues to me, he was kind and reassuring. The nurses and administration staff were all friendly, kind and human.

This is all in contrast to previous visits a few years ago where consultants have been arrogant, nurses stressed out and the experience being very dehumanising.

Well done, at a difficult time for the NHS you have managed to improve things considerably.

Only time will tell if the diagnosis was accurate, at this stage I have no reason to doubt it. Thank you to all involved both in the clinic and the x-ray department.

What could be improved

The appointment system is a farce. The GP told me to call or go online for a choice of hospital and appointment times.

The reality was that there was no appointments available and I had to wait for letter telling me when the appointment was and at what time.
