What I liked

My husband had a stroke in December 2011 and was admitted via A and E to Kingston Ward.

The treatment he received from the ambulance to A & E to CDU and then to Kingston was absolutely first rate.

The nursing staff and doctors were incredibly kind and helpful, and treated my husband and myself with great compassion during a very traumatic diagnosis. The ward was clean and well tended.

All the staff worked very hard to get my husband discharged in time for Christmas. This included the consultant phoning from his home (on his day off) and talking me through my husbands latest test results on Christmas Eve. Everyone went the extra mile for us.

I'm hugely grateful to the staff at K & C for their excellent care.
