"Filthy wards ,toilets .uncaring nurses !"

About: St James's University Hospital

What I liked

Nothing

What could be improved

Cleaning of toilets every day instead of once a wk if lucky !

Toilet seat would have been nice .

Nursing staff with at least a bit of compassion instead of rude and couldnt care less attitude

To have been sent home with some pain medication might have helped.

Waiting all day for meds to come up from pharmacy is ridiculaus

Anything else?

I have sent quite a lot of time in the LGI over the yrs but the care i received at St James was to say the least uncaring, sloppy and sometimes quite scary !

Elderly ladies moved from one ward to another at midnight ,suitcase slapped on knee obviously

hurting the poor woman because the porter was too lazy to carry it for her.

Nurses not up to date with my medication on a few occasions and would not listen to my concerns
