What I liked
My treatment by the a&e and ward staff. They were kind, friendly, calm and 100% professional.
The explanations by staff of what they were doing and why.
The standard of care was extremely high - my room was cleaned daily, my bed made, clean nightware provided. I felt really 'looked after'!
Anything else?
I have a portocath fitted and it would have been good if more staff knew how to use it so I didnt have to have a cannulae fitted ( which subsequently leaked so a nurse from another department came and gave an impromptu training session on how to use my port. I was much more comfortable after this!)
