What I liked
I was recentley admitted to the Day Surgery Unit to have a laparoscopy to diagnose Endometriosis. Being my first surgery I was terrified and very emotional. The staff that looked after me in the unit were absolutley brilliant, they were so friendly and lovely. I was comforted and was put at complete ease by all the nurses, doctors and anaesthetists who were taking care of me. I developed an allergic reaction post-operatively and had to stay on the ward for the entire day. But I was continuously checked in on by everyone on the health care team and I don't think it would of been possible to receive better care than what I received on that day.
What could be improved
.I can't think of anything that could be improved, I was treated amazingly.
Anything else?
I was treated with care and respect from my very first Outpatient appointent with the Gynaecologist's up until my surgery at the Day Surgery Unit. I couldn't fault my treatment and I would definitely come back to this hospital if I ever needed to and would certainly recommend it.
