I recently visited the Cardiothoracic department at Basildon hospital and was so impressed I felt I had to make a comment.

From the moment I was referred to the consultant and his team for an angioplasty the whole process went incredibly smooth. I was sent very clear and informative information prior to my pre-assessment and angioplasty procedure. When I arrived at the hospital I was seen on time and treated with the utmost care and attention. I was extremely apprehensive at the thought of the procedure but was made to feel calm and very comfortable throughout. I believe the staff in this department especially, went beyond the call of duty and I would like to thank the consulant, his team and all the nurses very much.
