What I liked
After an accident in October 2010 I had a replacement hip operation. I spent the whole of 2011 in severe pain, frustration and depression as I went from one doctor to another in the area in which I was living at the time (Grantham area) begging for help. I needed wrist support to aid my walking (arthritic hands and wrists), but had to wait 11 weeks to get them by which time much damage had been done to my hip. I had to wait another 10 to get physiotherapy-all too late.
Sold our house and moved to Lincoln. G.P arranged appointment with LCH Orthopaedic hospital for February, saw an Orthopaedic Surgeon in March, revision surgery on hip on 15th May, home on 19th May. Whole procedure went like a dream, wonderful care from all departments. Four weeks on am already able to walk, almost free of pain-managed half a mile on sticks yesterday!. Thank you to all members of the Orthopaedic team at LCH.. You are just great.
What could be improved
Nothing-every single aspect of my treatment was superb.
"Would highly recommend LCH Orthopaedic Dept ."
