What I liked
The Minor Injuries Unit itself was extremely clean, bright and airy.
The receptionist was very welcoming and took my Mum's details in a very professional and discreet manner.
My Mum was extremely anxious and the Nurse who saw her was absolutely superb, taking time to listen attentively and answering all of her questions and calming her fears.
We were then referred to see the on call Doctor who was also very kind and understanding, providing clear and helpful advice and a plan of follow up care for my Mum.
Our experience of the Minor Injuries Unit at Alnwick could not have been improved, and the staff we encountered were a credit to the healthcare profession and the hospital.
