"I am so grateful that my care was in your hands"

About: Torbay Hospital

What I liked

I was first admitted to hospital as an emergency in January 2009 with bowel cancer which haddd perforated the intestine. This was successfully operated on. Regular checkups remain clear. In 2010 I suffered laryngeal cancer which radio and chemotherapy failed to cure. My larynx was removed and after remedial treatment lastinnng 17 weeks I have once again been declared cancer free in a follwup check. during my stay in Forrest ward my jugular vein burst and only the brilliant efforts of the Sister and staff saved my life. The vein was repired in theatre. In 2011 as a result of a routine check scan a small growth was detected in my lung. this was removed and once again I been declared cacer free at a recent check. I have no doubt that I owe my life to the skill and dedication of the Torbay hospital from the most Senior to the humblest.

Anything else?
