What I liked

I was exceptionally fond of a HCA on the EAU where i was situated. They were most kind to all fellow service users and very polite and amazing with a person centered care approach! They worked hard and well never showing stress but only acting professional and caring. I would happily give the name to anyone who asked for it, as they made my hospital stay definitely more comfortable!

What could be improved

The way the sister communicated with the other members of staff was sometimes very rude, on one which occasion a staff member who was diabetic said they felt dizzy and needed sugar, they was not allowed to go and sort the problem until all their jobs was completed, it took twenty minutes for them to be able to go, which i think is inappropriate, i also think that some of the nurses on the EAU have forgotten why they do the job, many of them seem to 'not care' and the one's that do care seem to be pushed around more so.
