"The cardiology team showed compassion, sincerity and cheeriness at all times"

I was admitted to the AMU ward at East Surrey Hospital in August and discharged 3 days later for monitoring purposes in regard to a suspected pulmonary embolism following a marked shortness of breath accompanied by light-headedness earlier in the day.

I would like to make an observation that during my time in the AMU ward - in my opinion, every member of AMU ward staff from the team cleaning the ward, serving the tea and meals, nursing and consultancy teams were outstanding in their professionalism and patient care. The team showed at all times compassion, sincerity and most important a cheeriness that put a smile on suffering patients faces.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my immense appreciation to every member of the the AMU ward team at East Surrey.
