I was diagnosed with keratoconus about 12 years ago at Barnstaple, and since then have been a regular "customer" of the eye clinic, having contact lenses, and general welfare checks.
I had a transplant at the Royal Eye Infirmary Plymouth about 3 years ago and that has been successful. I recently had my left eye done, and to date that has been successful also, I now have my life back.
The staff who work in the eye clinic at Barnstaple have been wonderful to me all these years, always ready to try different things to assist my sight.
I wish to place on record my thanks for their patience and unstinting support over the years. You are a credit to your profession.
"Wonderful care over many years"
