"Lack of diagnosis of Lyme Disease"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Neurology (Brain, Spinal and Nerves)

(as the patient),

Started to have dizziness and headaches late last year. 11. My GP tried to treat me with some antihistamines and after 2 months I saw an ENT specialist. Nothing could be found and I was refered for an MRI which came back clear. Early 2012 I was feeling really bad. I couldn't walk, was very dizzy and had horible headaches. I had seen a migraine specialist who tried diffrent medication on me, then saw a neurologist who believed that everything was in my head. My GP said to get used with my symptoms and try to live my life.

I also had tests for lyme which came back negative. They refused to test it with Western Blot.

I went abroad and had some specific lyme tests which came back positive. Since then I started with aggresive antibiotic treatment which helped me to walk better and have no headaches.
