"Excellent care, doctors sometimes hard to access"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

Excellent service, cared for by midwives - excellently treated with dignity. Doctors were sometimes hard to access when querying a decision. Once baby born was amazed by kindness shown by everyone on ward 27 including the midwives, auxiliaries and cleaning staff. Wonderful team. Car parking costs were horrendous though.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. I will make sure that the Team are made aware of your comments.

With very best wishes,

John Goodenough

Director of Nursing

Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved? Please contact John Goodenough, Director of Nursing at john.goodenough@tgh.nhs.uk

With regards to the car parking charges we are in line with the charges made by other hospitals locally.

Thank you again. I wish you and your family well for the future.

Many thanks
