A small problem with waiting times people seem to turn up now and again without appointments and see workers and the person with appointments end up waiting for a while happened to me three times already.

Too many different appointments and see too many people.

Thankyou for taking the time to post feedback about the service on this site. I am sorry it has taken 2 weeks to respond – I have now resolved the technical issues that prevented a quicker response.

The complexity of some people’s health and our responsibility to provide intensive support means that, in certain situations, prescribing appointments may run over. This unfortunately delays subsequent appointments. I have spoken to Gp surgeries to see how they manage this as I realise they have the same challenges. The ideas they have given have all been around communicating effectively with the waiting people. We have resolved to do that and I hope you will notice the difference.

The different appointments that we offer are there for everyone’s benefit and should be co-ordinated by a recovery co-ordinator who is your regular named worker. Prescribing can happen by any prescribing manager who is available at the appointment time you require for the level of health support you need. Changes may happen because of annual leave, sickness, etc and I can only apologise if you are affected negatively because of this.

Whilst I can only apologise for the service you have had I hope that you notice a continued improvement in our service overall.
