I arrived at the Hospital at approximately 9. 30am and taken to Marlow Ward where I was then processed, asked numerous questions which had already been supplied. After many hours of waiting I was given limited information as to when the procedure wold be done, I was finally taken to the Theatre at 3. 45pm, the operation was complete by 4. 30pm, when the Theatre Sister contacted Marlow Ward to arrange transport home. This finally arrived at 9. 0pm and I arrived home at 10. 0pm to a very worried wife and feeling exhausted myself.
