"NHS24 & Borders General Hospital"

About: Borders General Hospital / Accident & Emergency NHS 24

(as the patient),

I had an allergic reaction to a bite and as it was the weekend I called NHS24 as I wasn't sure if it could wait until the doctors opened on Monday.

NHS24 were excellent, very friendly and helpful and I was referred to the BGH within the hour.

Once I arrived at the BGH, I was seen within minutes by a friendly and professional doctor.

An overall outstanding service.
