"lack of funding for cryotherapy"

I used to receive cryotherapy for osteoarthritis every 4 months, but the treatment was stopped. NHS Bromley owns both the machine and the probes (which, I understand, cost £2ooo each) so I wrote a complaint & was informed that I imagined the pain relief I experienced. I now have less effective pain relief which is costing around £50 per month. I feel that this is bureaucratic stupidity. My GP is furious about it, but nothing gets done.
