"I didn't get any real sense of choice"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

My optician said she would write to the GP about problems my test had revealed.

About a week later I received a call from TRAQS, when the caller referred to an appointment, I assumed it was some contracted organisation. (I did use the system when it first started but it was done in the local surgery)

I didn't get any real sense of choice, he assumed I wanted the first available. The first choice was impossible (next day @9am). The second seemed OK so I took it.

Two days later! I received a letter from my GP to say it had been passed to TRAQS. (Hence my scores of 1).

The sign posting at Wrekin Community Clinic, Euston house is abominable. Every patient I saw complained. The clinic itself was very good except the doctor was 30 mins late.

Dear Illuminate152

TRAQS also known as Telford Referral and Quality Services. It is a new service that has been setup to help and support the patients of Telford and Wrekin.

Information about the service and what happens next is provided in patient leaflet which you should have received from the practice at the time of being advised that you were being referred, apologies for the confusion.

Regarding your comments about Euston House I will pass this information onto the relevant people.

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback to us.
