I have always found doctors to be very understanding about my condition & supportive whilst I have been encountering side effects from medication.
I have had the opportunity to undergo counselling and referred for a mindfulness course but it was difficult to attend the appointments because I work full time.
I do worry that I will always suffer from this paralysing illness & do have concerns about people being unsympathetic but I am pleased to say that the NHS has never been like that.
