(as a relative),

My wife has just had a baby boy in Aberdeen, her fourth Caesarian section in that hospital and we can't get over how fabulous the staff were. The team in theatre (all female except one guy in the background) were so friendly and enthusiastic that we had a great experience throughout the operation and my anxiety about the procedure was totally dispelled.

At one point one of the team at the sharp end of the operation even broke into song! My wife has made a more rapid and less painful recovery than from any of her three previous sections. Extra special thanks to anaesthetist Fiona Warrick and surgeon Katrina.

In Summerfield Ward the staff were also superb. What a brilliant service!

Congratulations to you and your wife on having your fourth baby!!

It is a pleasure to hear that your family's experience of Aberdeen Maternity Hospital was such a positive one. I will pass on your positive comments to the service manager and the staff involved. I am sure they will find this feedback morale boosting.
