"Ill Fitting Plate"

An update from my previous treatment. I've just returned from a weeks holiday which was fab and much needed due to my stressful job, however it would of been so much better if my false teeth had not of caused me so much pain! I needed to take them out most of the time as my mouth had ulcers and felt like a razor blade inside again!

I could not wait for today the first day back from my holiday as I knew I had an appointment with the Periondontist, at long last. How different my treatment was this dentist confirmed that the plate was causing trauma to my permanent teeth and had caused further damage to my gums. I feel very let down with regards to some of the dental treatment which I've received over the past few years, had I of been referred to a specialist earlier my teeth and gums would be in far better shape today. On a positive note I feel that I have now been given some good advice and information and hopefully will be pain free and able to smile again soon.
