"Frustration with cardiology service at Western Infirmary, Glasgow."

Have attended cardiology for past 30 years, up till approx 2 yrs ago service has been exemplary. Over past 2 yrs having been shifted about between three consultants service has totally deteriorated. To me it feels as if there has been no continuity of care or follow up even though I have experienced many problems. I have been left to deal with issues myself as GP is reluctant to do anything and waits on consultants views which even trying to get an appt has proved extremely upsetting and difficult. Surely the patient shouldn't have to keep running between GP and hospital and still getting nowhere. The whole situation has now come to the point where I have basically given up. The frustration that lack of basic care and interest is causing has I feel negatively impacted my condition, a condition which I have managed for years.
