"Good service in X-ray department"

A CT scan was requested because of severe pain in my face.

Upon taking my request form around to the department, the reception staff were friendly and kind and took my telephone number so that I could be contacted. Whilst waiting one of the radiology staff saw me and recognised me and thoughtfully asked how I was and if she could help. I explained that I was in a great deal of pain and was suffering somewhat, she took away my request form and moment later returned and wrote my contact number on the form and said someone would be in touch the same today. True to their word a member of the CT department contacted me and said to come down straight away. I had my CT scan the same day that I requested it which was very much appreciated.

I believe that this is not just an example of how the x-ray treat Trust staff but how they treat everyone, with courtesy and kindness.

I am a member of staff and would like to pass on my thanks to the staff in the xray department who sorted me out today.
