About: The Beacon

(as a service user),

I came to the beacon after a gallstone removal operation needing support and personal care. I have enjoyed my stay here. I got on well with all the staff, especially Selina who make me feel more relaxed.

I couldn’t fault the food and I found the mealtimes good from a social aspect. However I did find the time in between meals quite boring.

I am really glad that you enjoyed your time with us and I will ensure that Selina receives your kind feedback.

We really try hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients and their carers.

We are currently going through a remodelling programme at the Beacon and will include your comments regarding activities within the centre and how this can be improved in the project.
