(as the patient),

I suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis, which causes me chronic pain, has led to my spine becoming fused and has the potential to greatly affect my life.

However I have been receiving treatment at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases where a course of intensive hydrotherapy, physio and education to help me to manage the condition so I can carry on with my life.

The staff there are experts in AS and give us world-class treatment. The RNHRD has helped me live my life happily, actively and productively despite the AS.
