"Outstanding care for my fractured fibula"

I had a fall while on holiday in Scotland resulting in a fractured fibula.

I attended the Infirmary the following day when I was seen very promptly. The x rays confirmed the diagnosis and I was seen by nurse practitioner, junior doctors and 2 consultants.

The entire team were outstanding. I was treated with reassurance, good humour and professionalism. Everyone from the reception team the porters to the manager who steered my wheelchair were excellent.

I attended Mr McLeod's fracture clinic a week later where again I was looked after very well by the same team who remembered the details and were most helpful in all sorts of practical ways.
