"Why do I seem to have problems with my practice?"

About: Dorset PCT

(as the patient),

3 years ago i got very sick and my family keep calling to ask why the GP hasn't been out, and they just phoned said we'll be out soon.

But by now it was few hours later which was late at nite, and i got sick at 10 in morn, so why did they keep putting off coming to me? By 9 clock i turned for the worse so my hubby and mum called 999, but 2 times to ask where the ambulance was to, i then got worse was sort of not with it anymore.

They knew they was losing me, thanks to no gp and ambulance taking too long to get to me, thinking i just prob had bug.

But i got to hospital and put on drips and pills to keep me alive. I had cellulitis in the leg so i spent 9 day in hosp but maybe if someone bothered it would have been treated quicker.

So i did do a complaint, as i think gps are meant to help people, so after that i've not been to a doctor in 3 yrs cos i just have no trust. So i had to go for eye test, they said pressures are too high so wrote to my gp 2 wks ago.

I never heard from them, so i phoned up and said to person on desk could i speak to doctor, didn't say why. So she said yes I'll get the gp to call. 24 hrs later still no call.

So what if i was poorly again? they just forgot me again. How can this keep happening in the same practice? i think it should be looked into. I have wrote to the practice about complaints, so i am unhappy with both times.

So I'm just waiting to see if next time i'll not be so lucky. This is their job and they get paid to care, so they need to be able do a better job in my eyes.
