"Impressed with care for my bladder op"

I had a great experience of North Tees Hospital. From the moment I arrived staff were helpful and professional. Starting with the security guard who gave me directions, to the staff in the access unit, to those involved with the opperation and aftercare.

I could fault nobody, and the care of the staff was clearly evident, they always had time to explain and to help, without being in your face all the time.

Mr Chaplin was my consultant. He went out of his way to support me whilst on the ward, making visits each day to check up on me. This was above and beyond the normal ward rounds.

There were many students involved with my treatment at all levels and I was also impressed by how well they worked.

I was very happy with my procedure and after care.
