I was taken aback when I had a recall after s routine mammagram. I had to go to Nelson Mandela square for another mammagram and biopsy, then back the next week for the results. Told I have DCIS and have it explained to me I was in disbelief. I kept thinking they have made a mistake it can't be me. I am still in disbelief.
Within a few weeks I had a date to see the surgeon. Dr romick explained what he was going to do but still can't take it in. I took my partner with me so he would pick up on what I was missing. I was in for 2 nights. The treatment and care I received were excellent. I can't fault anyone. I have had problems and still attending New Victoria.
