"Wonderful phlebotomy service - but don't like the answerphone service"

I would just like to say how utterly fantastic I think the phlebotomy service is - the ladies who come out to see my to take my blood are marvellous. They couldn't be more friendly or courteous, and always go out of their way to help and make me comfortable. So thanks a million to Lynne, Val, and Marge - I appreciate all you do for me.

My only complaint is not being able to get through to somebody on the phone when I need to arrange an appointment, it's always an answering machine. I'm 83, and the words don't always come to me when I have to leave a message, and I would like to speak to somebody to confirm that my message has been received and I will receive an appointment.

Apart from that, everything is wonderful.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment about your experience of the phlebotomy service.

We will be in the near future looking at how we receive our referrals and we are hoping that we can come up with solutions as an alternative to the answer phone and fax referral system. Your comments are appreciated and valuable. I will ensure the staff mentioned receive your kind comments.
